Now my todays personal misfortune.

I was on my way to the new job. 12 cute dogs waited for me. I took the Alfa Romeo GT who has been a

DIVA!

lately.

Clutch issues, the car bitching and complaining about it being too wet or too cold...Alfa Romeo stuff. Now the meeting point was 18 miles/ 30km away and I was driving in good spirits. Almost there I came up to a bigger intersection in a city nearby. Lunch time, lots of traffic. I made it to a red traffic light in the middle lane.

Stop...shift to 1st gear...green...drive...drive!...driiiiv...

CLUTCH NOT RESPONDING!

Can't move forward! Cars behind me! Sirens in the back! Supposed to move over! Can't! Trying! Trying again! Panic!

Rolling the car to the side! In front of a No parking! medical entrance sign!

Sweating, calling Gianna to cancel, calling the ADAC automobile club to get me towed home.

The guy attested me a broken car. Thanks. Who would have known. To his defense I have to say that he was super nice.

I was 18 miles from home and because of Corona the towers aren't supposed to take you as a passenger. I would have had to get me a cab, which would have cost a fortune. He skipped his rule and towed me and the dead Alfa home.
