What's up, citizens of Praetoria! We're back with our usual weekly report from the Golden Path! These past few weeks I've been actively buying cards and preparing to acquire my next legendary archon. I'm undecided between getting the fire or earth archon, but I'll definitely be adding my fourth core Arcana Conclave legendary archon this weekend. It's been a lot of fun discovering the potential of these new cards, not only because of the obvious advantage of adding a legendary archon or an epic monster to your deck, but also because of the new approach the game encourages: searching for cards not just by their element, but by their lineage. However, this week we're taking stock again of the resource balance on our plots and, of course, our participation in the Volt Event with our powerful Electrofox card and the chests obtained with the EVP it generates when activated on the plot.

Estas últimas semanas he estado comprando activamente cartas y preparándome para adquirir mi próximo arconte legendario, que estoy indeciso si comprar el de fuego o el de tierra, pero sin duda que este fin de semana sumare mi 4to arconte legendario core de Conclave Arcana. Ha sido muy divertido ir descubriendo el potencial de estas nuevas cartas, no solo por la evidente ventaja que tiene sumar a tu mazo un arconte legendario o un monstruo épico, sino por el nuevo enfoque al que nos invita el juego, es decir, buscar las cartas no solo por su elemento, sino por sus linajes. Sin embargo, esta semana volvemos a pasar lista del balance de recursos en nuestras parcelas y por supuesto, nuestra participación en el Volt Event con nuestra poderosa carta Electrofox y los cofres obtenidos con los EVP que genera al estar activado en la parcela.

Right as I'm writing this, I've noticed two interesting things: the first is that the availability of Electrofox on the market has drastically decreased, and now there are only two copies available at max level and another two, but only one of those is a Battle Cross. This indicates the great utility these cards are getting in lands, because to be honest, I haven't had the chance to face this card in the Modern format in the Diamond League, so friends, it's very likely that this card will increase in value in the coming weeks. The second piece of news is that yesterday was the last chance to acquire Aurelius chests with EVP; they're completely sold out! But we were lucky enough to buy what will be our last Aurelius chest yesterday, just when there were only 13 left.

I was quite anxious yesterday because I thought I wouldn't be able to buy my last Aurelius chest, but luckily last night we were able to buy our last chest of this rarity. Now only the Hyper chests remain, worth 3500 EVP. If I'm generating 10,000 EVP weekly, that would be enough for almost three of these chests. But for now, let's see what rewards this last chest brought me.

Well, for the last chest, its contents were quite disappointing. Even the ETN, which was the most common item and what motivated me to keep investing in these chests, was a total letdown. Anyway, we'll just have to wait and see, because if this is what we get in the higher-tier chests, I don't even want to imagine what awaits us in chests with lower reward potential.

Last week I shared a post where I bought my new legendary Archon of Life and a good number of key units to make strategies with these Archons work properly. One of them was Dragonlord Mancer, which I had bought quite some time ago, but I was missing the units that shared his lineage. I was missing two units that I managed to get at a very good price: Fenmoor Wood Troll, which is of the Bruteborn lineage, and Fenmoor Gorgon, which is Saurian. Both lineages are related to Dragonlord Mancer, and their price was unbeatable, so I didn't think twice and bought them.

La semana pasada les compartía un post donde compre mi nuevo arconte legendario de vida y una buena cantidad de unidades clave para hacer funcionar correctamente las estrategias con estos arcontes. Uno de ellos fue Dragonlord Mancer que lo había comprado hace bastante tiempo pero me faltaban las unidades que compartían linaje con él y me faltaban 2 unidades que pude conseguir un muy buena oferta: Fenmoor Wood Troll que es de linaje Bruteborn y Fenmoor Gorgon que es Saurian. Ambos linajes tienen relación con Dragonlord Mancer y su precio era inmejorable, así que no lo pensé 2 veces y los compré.

I'm quite satisfied with Fenmoor Wood Troll; in fact, I've already tested him in battle with very good results, which I'll share in a future #battlechallenge post. However, I haven't had the chance to test Fenmoor Gorgon yet, although I might get her to level 5 first.

Con Fenmoor Wood Troll estoy bastante satisfecho, de hecho ya lo he probado en batalla con muy buenos resultados que les compartiré en una futura publicación de #battlechallenge. Now we move on to our resource production in Lands, starting with our grain plots. I haven't made many changes to the workers here; grain production is currently enough to cover a good portion of stone production. What I haven't done, because I've been busy buying cards for ranked, is adjust the price of the plots, so I don't know how much the grain plots will cost, because last time they were around $20 and were common rarity! In the next report, I promise to review the land market to see what's available in Praetoria.

I don't remember if I mentioned it, but last season I completely forgot to renew the cards I had locked in one of the quarries, so I had to rent two legendary Chaos Legion gold cards at max level, and they're basically producing the same amount as the black foil cards I rented last season. The thing is, I transmuted almost 370,000 stone into 20,000 DEC, and I want to try to get them back as soon as possible so I can then see which other plots I can improve my production in by renting workers.

No recuerdo si les había comentado, pero la temporada pasada olvidé completamente renovar mis cartas que tenía bloqueada en una de las canteras, por lo que tuve que alquilar 2 cartas doradas legendarias Chaos Legion al máximo nivel y básicamente están produciendo lo mismo que las cartas de lámina negra que había alquilado la temporada pasada. El asunto es que trasmuté casi 370K de piedra en 20K DEC y quiero tratar de recuperarlos lo más pronto posible para ver entonces en que otras parcelas puedo mejorar mi producción alquilando trabajadores.

With this week's production, we've reached 567,000 stone. Compared to our last report two weeks ago, the production rate, including rented workers, is now 30,000 stone per week. Not bad, but it can certainly be improved. I think the most economical solution would be to upgrade some workers on my rare plot in Bredaine, since buying a completely new plot, no matter how cheap I find it on the market, would require at least 50,000 Dec to fill it with fully upgraded workers. So for now, for the remainder of August, we'll be exploring which workers we can rent that generate at least 10,000 production points to increase stone production.

Con lo generado esta semana llegamos a la cantidad de 567K de piedra, en comparación a nuestro último reporte hace 2 semanas, la tasa de producción incorporando los trabajadores alquilados llega a 30K de piedra semanalmente. Nada mal pero ciertamente puede mejorarse, creo que lo más económico sería mejorar algún trabajador de mi parcela rara en Bredaine, ya que comprar una parcela totalmente nueva y por más económica que la encuentre en el mercado, implicaría contar con al menos 50K en Dec para llenarlos con trabajadores al máximo. Así que por ahora, en lo que resta de agosto estaremos explorando cuales trabajadores podemos alquilar que como mínimo generen 10K en puntos de producción para aumentar la producción de piedra.

Well, everyone, that's my report on the Golden Path for this week. The progress has been remarkable, and I'm sure it will increase even further now that I'm participating in Splinterlands tournaments. Today I received the rewards from my first tournament, and with them I can pay for the resources I need to harvest this week and also renew the leases at my quarry.
