This is not a rhetorical question. It is a ticking timebomb question.
With wars and bad weather, failing crops and chemical fertilizer shipping problems, our wheat yields are going to be lower than usual demand. And next year's harvest is going to be worse.
So, who doesn't get wheat next year?
The US has sold a LOT of wheat to China. Far more than it should have. And there are people who are supposed to monitor wheat growth, wheat harvest and wheat demands. (you can't just grow wheat in The US. You have to have permission. So that we don't grow too much wheat and flood the market, tanking the price)
The lack of wheat should be a daily talking point on the news, but there isn't a whisper. Meaning, there are people who are either hoping that next year's harvest makes up for this year's loss, or some people want to see people starve.
So, which will you give up? Cold Cereal or Cookies? And where will you get your calories from?
America should not suffer at all, except
America grows so much wheat, that we should have our fill, and the rest can be doled out to the rest of the world.
But, that isn't the way the world works today.
Today, vegans want certain things, and those things come from all over the Earth. The 3000 mile salad is the joke. And, if we want to continue getting things, we have to keep up trade relations. And, if certain bureaucrats are in charge, America may be the only one to do without.
It is easy to imagine a future where the "people in charge" say, well we already sold the wheat to them (years ago) and so we have to send them the wheat. Even if Americans go hungry.
Although the COMEX is supposed to balance supply and price, it is more of a control for the little people, and a way for gamblers to bet on food. Kel-Logs and Post purchase straight from the factory farms, they do not go through the COMEX, except to control/manipulate the markets.
The thing i hate is that there won't be any cool heads in the room, working out how each country can tighten their belts only a little. No, those mother WEFers and their pet the UN, are going to make WINNERS and losers. And probably kill the golden goose as well.
What will you do when bread is missing from the shelves?
This is the part i really hate, because most people will only learn about this timebomb after it has destroyed everything. Further, i expect the media to say things like "it is a temporary mixup, and everything will go back to normal soon." Which it will not.
It will be something like rolling blackouts, where a particular store will have no bread this week, but it will be back next week. Repeat.
But, now that you have read this, you know what is really going on.
Americans who practice Keto or Paleo diets may cheer, or may not care, it isn't their problem. However, a lot of people are going to starve.
Will you march on the USDA telling them to stop lying to the public?
Will you demand America first? Let the rest of the world bid for what's left?
Will you demand that Billy Gatez grow wheat on ALL of his farmland? Leave not one acre unplanted!
The one thing that may save America is how many countries will tell us to stay out of their side of the world. After IsReal? falls, moves, gets the anger of everyone in the world. Their "bodyguard" will be told to stay out of many places.
Shipping breaks down. And, that means a lot of wheat doesn't get shipped.
Where's the Beef?
This is a really weird one. The world loves American Beef. Most of the beef raised in America gets sent overseas. And, Americans are left importing beef from South America. And even eating horses, if the rumors are true.
I can tell you that the hamburger i get at the store today is not like the hamburger i handled while cutting up cows in FFA in my youth. It doesn't look the same, it doesn't smell the same, it doesn't feel the same. (meaning, there is something going on out there. Pink slime, dunking in bleach, bugz added, meat glued together…)
If shipping breaks down, we may see beef be very plentiful in America. Of course, we have all kinds of problems with a few corporations owning ALL the meat processing plants. And Americans might not see that beef. As in, the outbound shipments still happens, but those shipments from South America don't.
"And den, you vill eat ze bugz"
This is going to get very ugly.
I strongly suggest you grow lettuces indoors, with LED grow lights. Very easy to make very fresh salads.
Next, grow chickens. Work out how to grow chicken feed, instead of buying mash.
If you have more room and time, grow a garden in a greenhouse. Every piece of wasted vegetable is chicken food.
And those with lots of space grow ruminants; goats, sheep, cows.
The way out of this is to stop relying on the factory farm corporations.
If you are addicted to bread, i would suggest buying and storing wheat. It only cost 3x what it did a few years ago, but that is still cheap. Learn to grind your wheat into flour and make healthy, delicious breads yourself.
