From that side of the "monitor", the higheer self, your guides, see this life as a video game. Over in the blink of an eye. This is the truth about reality.
However, it is a very bad way to heal yourself until you are ready to accept that big of a view/responsibility.
A better place to start is in manifesting things into your life. Healing yourself. Becoming more able to respond (responsibility) to what life "throws at your". The more healed you become, the easier it is to go through life. The more you learn about yourself, the more you comprehend what you are manifesting.
This sucks, but you have to go back through the pain and heal it. Heal it at every level.
And then you will have to mourn all the things you thought you should have gotten, but didn't.
Speaking from experience, how easy is it to heal a loss of mother's love? One has to mourn the loss of love, that you should have gotten as a child. And before that, you have to give that love to yourself. Mother didn't do it, and so you have to. And before that, you have to heal the wounds, the trauma, and the trauma responses. Did you, as a child, decide that you would just survive on as little love as possible? Or did you become angry that you were neglected, and so have been lashing out at everyone? All these pieces need to be healed.
