Your soul, and the alien's soul are both at the same level. From that level, there is no separation, and no hierarchy, and if you are a highly spiritual being, you know this.

Telepathy is normal, natural. Speech to communicate is actually very hard to do. You need to forget that you can telepathically communicate AND you have to evolve hearing organs AND THEN you have to learn to communicate with this tiny bandwidth. Which takes a lot of interactions and agreements that "this" means this.
