Aliens communicating through telepathy is not difficult for me to imagine. Assuming they are similar to us except theor DNA os day 2 or 3 percent more evolved. They will see our most brilliant minds like how we see monkeys. Telepathy will be something they see as normal and the fact that we can't do it will be ok for them. They'll really look down on us though 😅 I wouldn't want to be an alien's pet
