This story is NOT uncommon.
In fact, i might say it is the standard.
I know very few men who just fly off the handle, like "women say they do".

And, the reason why you do not hit a woman (the wording is actually supposed to be 'lady') is because you do and the game is over. Most men can easily put her in the hospital. So, where are all the women with broken skulls…?
