Well, i have to change my statement a lot… or actually expand it into its full meaning.
But, i was trying to use "TV jargon" to keep it short.
Like, "society" expands into a society that's main goal/purpose is production, as in, every person should be a productive member of society. (on a tropical island, where the food is abundant, "productive" loses its meaning and value.)
And "drugs" expands into "hard" illegal drugs, the kind that destroy you, and your productivity.
But, then again, there is some points that pharmacology is an evil science, and we should stop taking drugs. So many of our medicines are derived from a plant, and then synthesized. When taking the actual plant, or part of the plant often has more curative properties.
BigPharma is about to collapse. And we will go back to old-wives-tale medicines. I just hope that we combine our medical knowledge with natural remedies and come up with something better. Instead of going back to the stone age, where asthma is deadly and life shortening.
