It is what i see a lot of people getting out of dodge are doing. Move from LA to Tucson or Dallas.
They aren't paying attention to the fact that cities are going away.
The things that supported cities are gone.

You used to have manufacturing. And because of that, you had all the industries that supported that manufacturing. (suppliers of every sort, cleaning and food services...) But the base is gone, and now with more people working from home, there is little left in a city to maintain it.

What is left is the leftists. The people who were living off the system.
And more and more, the leftists create their misguided utopia.

There are very few cities with that base left. So, i see this movement from one city to another as from one frying pan into another frying pan.

Lots of properties with steams... just not in the South West.
It is a good plan. The equipment to make that work is all readily available.
It is just a matter of how far out of town can you stand?
Because it will be a little while before all of what you need in a town is dispersed.
