People are basically the same the world over. Everybody wants the same things - to be happy, to be healthy, to be at least reasonably prosperous, and to be secure. Unfortunately this is not true.
There are psychopaths and narcissists that live among us, and they do not believe in any of this.
There are also dark individuals, so tied up in their pain, that they want everyone else to be as miserable as them.
There are people who's jealousy is such that because they are not prosperous, they want to drag everyone else down to their level.

We, as a society are not going to be able to let these people continue to run amok.
We will have to devise policies and plans to deal with these society/life destructive forces.
(and these will need to be something more than the punishment system we have now.
probably the first thing to do is ban single mothers)
