The Last Starfighter is one of the first CGI movies. All those space scenes are computer generated.
So old, that they rented time on a Cray super-computer to render it.

Also, The Last Starfighter is an early 80s movie... expect cheesiness and a bit slow for our current time.

And soon, i expect a group of kids to make movies on par with The Spirits Within on their home computers.
Hollywood is sooo dead.
