A local Precious Metals Forum that I frequently visit is called Silveroos and it’s still a pretty new site. They have been trying out a couple of interesting initiatives to try to generate traffic and that usually involves a chance to win some real silver. One of these, which they tested in May was The Trading Game...and they are about to give it another run.
I may be jumping the gun a little bit, but the 2nd iteration of The Trading Game is due to launch today. The basic idea is that you get a starting cash balance of pretend money (likely $100,000 AUD) to buy and sell Silver and Gold at Spot Price. There is also the option to use leverage up to x20 so you can really go bust quickly if you are reckless (Yes, I did go bust during the first run of the game)
I’m not sure if there will be prizes this time around but it does appear that prizes will be on the cards at some time in the future so if you’re interested in trading Precious Metals then check out the Initial Thread sign up on the site (if you haven’t already) and get familiar.
Silveroos is a good site with active development, a Secondary Market for trading Physical Metals and the stackers there are the real deal. I’ve known some of them longer than I’ve been on the blockchain so I can verify there are genuine Aussie stackers there who know their stuff. They’ll be hard to beat at The Trading Game, but you can’t win it if you’re not in it!
Silveroos is sponsored by Smithys Bullion who I wrote about extensively recently and they recently also produced a nice silver round which I’ve used as the image for this post. I missed out on that round, but hopefully will pick one up at some point.
