Perhaps. I think it validates BOTH our points to some degree.

Mine was that adopting the Mermaid was a community decision, done transparently and democratically...and I originally was against it. That said, we ran with the community choice and I think we have done a reasonable job in keeping it classy. I think we've come a long way since those days and I have become quite fond of Precious as I believe have many others - including our lady members.

If you have a look at the names behind those boorish comments they aren't really around any more...
