I Won Stacker of the Week – You Can Too!

If I won it then anyone can win it. The Stacker of the Week initiative is still going strong and it’s now into Week 21 with no signs of slowing down. I did initially kick off the initiative for SGS but it’s been gladly passed on to @bitcoinman and he’s now been running it for longer than I ever did so massive kudos goes to him! It is always great to see people stepping up and taking on some extra responsibility to help others so I am particularly grateful to @bitcoinman for doing exactly that with Stacker of the Week and giving it some extra longevity.

Of course I am extra grateful because I won the poll myself in Week 19 and I would never have been able to do that if it weren’t for his persistence with the idea. The other day I got my prize when this little cherry showed up in my hiveblocks.com feed thanks to some fat upvotes by the sponsors @leofinance, @ocdb and @blocktrades who continue to provide great support for our Stackers :-

I certainly wasn’t expecting the nomination let alone the win and that’s kind of the beauty of the Stacker of the Week initiative. It’s a bit of extra value and recognition that is getting spread around our community members who are producing good content. I’m not going to claim that I deserved to win it, but I certainly am appreciative of @bitcoinman and the Votes of the SGS Community that got me over the line. It tells me that I must have done something right and that’s always nice to know!

That’s the message I have today for the Stackers out there. Anyone can win Stacker of the Week and if you do then its a nice little pat on the back with a payout boost attached so keep putting out that great content and you’ll give yourself every chance of claiming the honor. Just getting nominated is pretty cool but if you miss out then there is always next week so KEEP ON STACKING!
