What an anniversary… my vote value on Steemit finally reached 0,01 USD. That isn't much, but it still is a number and it makes an upvote feel much more valuable. I know, until I reached 0,01 USD, it still was 0,009 USD, but that wasn't visible in the same way, so this really feels goo.

But, I do know that it might be temporary, as the Steem value has increased a bit the last days. But, if it will fall in value against Bitcoin, or if Bitcoin itself will dump, then the Steem price will go down as well, and suddenly my 0,01 USD vote value will become history again as well. But, writing posts quite regularly and also sharing food experiences with the Tasteem community, I do believe that I will become a steady 0,01 USD voter in a short time, no matter what! :)

Great day today

The weather is perfect (though, a bit too warm), but I have seen so much football lately and tonight one of the highlights during the FIFA World Cup for women group stage will take place. It will be very interesting to see how Norway will perform in their match against the hosts, France. There are a couple of group stage matches I look forward to in the same way, for example, the group stage match between Sweden and the United States on June 20th. There is a big difference between the best and the worst teams in the tournament (that could easily be seen yesterday as the United States won 13-0 against Thailand), but as the best teams will start to play against one another, this will become just as entertaining and exciting as the male version of the same competition.

It will be interesting to see whether the Steem community will come awake now during the summer, or if the summer will be a lazy period for Steemians who will rather spend their time on the beach instead of actually writing and blogging here on Steemit. I will do my best to write now and then, and since the summer is packed with dining experiences, I do believe there will come quite a lot of reports and Tasteem reviews from me.

But, until then - I will do my best to also write about other areas of life, and that includes football and traveling, and of course, about life in the amazing city of Budapest.

The city has gotten a lot of attention lately due to the boat accident in the Danube in which two Hungarians and a lot of South Koreans died on the last day of May. That was really unfortunate, and I feel really sorry for all the relatives and friends of those who died in the accident. The truth is, the Danube is a very dangerous river due to the extremely strong current and at the time of the accident it was even raining and dark, making things even worse.
