To complete this video tutorial you must have the Actifit app installed on your Android device. Actifit can be downloaded and installed from the Google Play Store.
Beginner
In this video tutorial we learn all the basic functions of the Actifit mobile app. We start with the main menu and itemize each function found there.
This is the total number of movements or steps you have done through the day. This number increases with the activities you take part in through the day. This number resets to zero each evening at 12-midnight.
This is how you can publish your daily activity record and qualify for potential rewards.
Posting is quite simple. First make sure you have logged into the Actifit app using your Steemit username and your private posting key. (Here is document showing how to find your private posting key) Actifit will create a post title for you, but you can change it if you like. Choose the type of activities you have been doing throughout the day. You can put in some personal physical information, but that is optional. Provide up to five relevant tags.
You must write a minimum of 30 words in your description related to your activities. This text proves that you are actually a human and not a bot or a scammer.
Once you are done, click Post to Steemit. This will write your post to the Steem blockchain and submit your activities for potential rewards.
This feature simply shows the amount of activity you have done each day.
View Daily Leaderboard shows the Actifit users who have completed the most activity so far today.
You can use the Actifit wallet to find out how many Actifit AFIT tokens you currently own.
You can manually check the number of AFIT tokens you have by clicking the Check Balance button in your wallet.
Actifit provides some features you can customize.
One specific feature you need to be aware of is the "Background Movement Tracking." This feature will ensure that your phone will continue to track your activities even when your screen is locked. It is a good idea to experiment with this feature to see if you need to have it enabled for your device or not.
As you post your activities with your Actifit app you become eligible for two separate rewards: First, your post will be upvoted by the Actifit Steemit account which will result in your receiving Steem rewards from the reward pool. Secondly, you will receive Actifit's AFIT tokens based on the amount of activities you have engaged in that day.
You can also earn through "Delegating" Steem to the Actifit project. Individuals who delegate Steem each day receive 1:1 AFIT tokens for each Steem token they delegate. So if an individual delegate 100 Steem to Actifit they will receive 100 AFIT per day.
