It is a nostalgic memory of wandering through the surrounding forests from last summer. Although it was very dry, I found enough edible mushrooms in my familiar places. Rather, I was just taking pictures. I only picked up a few pieces to dry them for Christmas soup.
But I don't know how I'm going this year. The woods around us were engulfed by bark beetle and heavy timber technology for harvesting the infected trees. Neither is good for the forest. I just have to hope to find some mushrooms this summer.
