I started to ask myself what I am doing to better this platform?
To be honest I can’t say that I am doing anything to better this platform. I am not committing my time or research into Steemit, and it’s being reflected in my payouts and posts. Besides my obvious inconsistence in the past few months, my art has been rushed and pretty crappy if am being honest with myself.
When I first started Steemit I had great success(relatively)and not so much now. Looking back at those earlier post I had a genuine appreciation for the platform. My appreciation hasn’t gone away but it's no longer visible to the community.
I became a critic of my own work, would I upvote my work? Yes, and I do every time but there are times that I have felt guilty doing so.
I am making a promise to myself that I will bring more value to this platform. Not only am I motivated in making this platform better I have also invested $1300 into STEEMPOWER.
It may seem like I am investing in Steemit because I just said I did lol, but the reality of it is that I am investing in myself. $1300 is a lot of money for me to invest in this platform or anything. It's not pocketchange its $1300. As much as this is about me believing in the platform it’s more about me believing in myself in a way that I can motivate myself to crack the code to bringing value into this platform.
Also wanted to add a couple of my new pieces of art I have been motivated by talent I been seeing and I understand that I have to step up my game.
