Labor Day Weekend will hopefully live up to its name for me... as I have a lot of ...

... labor to get done!

Tonight I plodded ahead on a mixture of pencils, inks, and color flats; pushing another page of “I Thought It Would Be Zombies...” debut issue a bit closer to completion.

I keep glancing at the thumbnail previews of all my comic page files, slowly looking more cohesive and complete. I try to reassure myself by thinking, “If I just get x, y, and z wrapped up... I’ll have a full 14 page sequence completely finished!” I hope that this project progresses like a puzzle, and as the remaining unfit pieces dwindle, the speed to completion becomes fast and furious!

Tomorrow will be filled with my day job followed by a friend’s housewarming/holiday party, but Sunday and Monday are wide open for cramming in as much comic productivity as I possibly can. And cram I must! I have much to do and little time to do it in!

September is going to be an interesting month...
