Sometimes you just have to focus on the “boring” stuff... After all, life isn’t all ...

... about beautiful dryads kicking the snot out of hordes of goblins. There’s quiet moments as well, like when you glance out the window to observe the sun going haywire... Ok, I guess that’s not actually so boring! But it’s the quietest moment Dave’s going to have for a while as he’s thrown into the tumult of “I Thought It Would Be Zombies...”!

It’s back to inking tiny little buildings and the texture of people’s hair for me though! That’s not too tumultuous... I’ve been moving a lot of my workflow back into the ProCreate app recently, though I still find it difficult to choose between it and Clip Studio, both have strengths and weaknesses for making comics.

One thing Procreate does have is a record of how much time is spent working on each file. With just over 8 hours put in on this page and plenty more to go, that visualization of time is allowing me to realize the enormity of the remaining work ahead to get the first issue of “I Thought It Would Be Zombies...” off to press. Ahh... there’s my tumult! 🧐
