EDIT:
I almost forgot.. There's a new Tribe and Token in town and exclusively dedicated to our loved Photography art. Feel free to check the discord and to get involved in this promising project!
Playing with focus again, but this time deliberately and not "helped" by the wind like on my publication from two days ago.
Basically the same ingredients:
A manual legacy lens (this time a Pentacon 50mm), a dry bush and a very shallow depth of field (I used the lens wide open, like I do almost every time when shooting with these oldies).
Sony a7 + Pentacon 50 1.8 --- ISO 100 --- f/1.8 --- 1/640 sec
This particular Pentacon is definitely not known for its sharpness. The dreamy and smooth bokeh produced by it is the true calling card of this marvelous lens.
Every image shot with it at f/1.8 will look almost like a painting.
The only thing I would add to it if I could would be a bit more of contrast. But that's something that can be easily fixed in post production anyway.
Cheers and thanks for visiting!
