Hello my dear friends, I had a long time without visiting you, but this time, I came to make a recommendation of a movie that shocked me and I liked a lot and is none other than The Black Telephone I saw it recently and as it is my favorite genre of horror, the paranormal, at once caught my attention and that is quite recent, since it was released on June 24, 2022, of American origin, I was pleasantly surprised.

Because of how well they handled the development of the theme, intermingling suspense, mystery with the paranormal and dealing with a very delicate subject which is kidnapping; in this case of a psychopath, who liked to kidnap boys..., at the beginning of the film, the title of the film seemed curious to me, but I did not imagine what it was going to mean, that it was going to be practically the center of the plot. It starts with the children in their school, games, routines and it starts to become news about the kidnappings, in an era 70-80 where people were more trusting and children spent the night in the streets playing and interacting more and they came and went without major dangers.

Then, when these disappearances began to happen, everything started to get murky. There was a pair of siblings, a girl and a boy, which is around them where the whole plot begins to turn; the girl says she suffers from "strange dreams" when in fact the girl has some clairvoyance, which helps her to visualize different situations, but an alcoholic father and an absent mother, makes her have to deny this gift and her brother a shy boy, who suffered a lot of bullying, afraid to defend himself from his attackers, becomes the protagonist of all the events that followed.

All this lends itself to an environment where the plot develops and captures us as it unfolds. The most intriguing thing is that you do not know what to expect in each scene and the surprise factor that it has, which for me is the central part of everything, besides the paranormal theme was handled very well, it is not extremely bloody horror, although it has certain scenes that give it that sinister touch, but do not focus on it, but on the emotional part of the whole story apart from the premonitions of the girl, all this carried by the hand masterfully.

So much so, that being a lover of this genre I can say that it had been a while since I saw a film of this kind in recent years, that I could say "excellent", but to tell you more, there is a scene in which the surprise was capital and was when the girl in search of her missing brother, goes on his bike looking for the house that appeared in his dreams and runs head on, with all the ghosts of the missing children; I must say that even hit a scream of the impression ha, ha, ha, ha. I was fascinated by that part, very well structured, it really has no waste, it was one of my favorite scenes.

I must also say that they touched a very delicate subject such as the violence that bullying generates, but that in the end the protagonist knew how to face due to all the experiences he suffered during the course of his kidnapping; he no longer felt fear and returned more mature to his activities, now under other perspectives...

¡Hola mis queridos amigos!, tenía tiempo sin visitarles, pero en esta ocasión, vine para hacerles una recomendación de una película, que me impactó y gusto muchísimo y no es otra que El Teléfono Negro la vi recientemente y como es de mi género preferido el terror, lo paranormal, de una vez me llamó la atención y que es bastante reciente, ya que fue estrenada el 24 de junio del 2022, de origen estadounidense, me sorprendió gratamente.

Por lo bien en que manejaron el desarrollo de la temática, entremezclando el suspenso, el misterio con lo paranormal y que trata un tema bastante delicado que es el secuestro; en este caso de un psicópata, que gustaba de secuestrar niños varones..., al principio de la película, el título de la película me pareció curioso, pero no me imagine lo que iba a significar, que iba a ser prácticamente el centro de la trama. Se inicia con los niños en su escuela, juegos, rutinas y empieza a hacerse noticia lo de los secuestros, en una época 70-80 donde las personas eran más confiadas y los niños pernoctaban en las calles jugando e interactuando más e iban y venían sin mayores peligros.

Entonces, cuando se empezaron a suceder estas desapariciones, todo se empezó a poner turbio. Había una pareja de hermanos, una niña y un niño, que es en torno a ellos donde empieza a girar toda la trama; la niña dice que sufre de "extraños sueños" cuando en realidad la niña tiene cierta videncia, que le ayuda a visualizar diferentes situaciones, pero que un padre alcohólico y una madre ausente, hace que ella tenga que negar este don y su hermano un chico tímido, que sufría de mucho bullying, temeroso de defenderse de sus atacantes, se convierte en el protagonista de todos los sucesos que vinieron a continuación.

Todo esto se presta, para un ambiente donde se desarrolle la trama que nos va capturando a medida que se va desenvolviendo. Lo más intrigante es que no sabes que esperar en cada escena y el factor sorpresa que tiene, que para mí es la parte central de todo, aparte de que el tema paranormal lo manejaron muy bien, no es de terror en extremo sangriento, aunque tiene ciertas escenas que le dan ese toque siniestro, pero no se enfocan en ello, sino en la parte emocional de toda la historia aparte de las premoniciones de la niña, todo esto llevado de la mano magistralmente.

Tanto así, que siendo una amante de este género puedo decir que tenía tiempo en que no veía una película de este corte de años recientes, que pudiera decir ¡excelente!, pero para decirles más, hay una escena en que la sorpresa fue mayúscula y fue cuando la niña en busca de su hermano desaparecido, va en su bicicleta buscando la casa que le aparecía en sus sueños y se topa de frente, con todos los fantasmas de los niños desaparecidos; debo decir que hasta pegue un grito de la impresión ja, ja, ja. Me fascinó esa parte, muy bien estructurada, de verdad que si, no tiene desperdicios, fue una de mis escenas favoritas.

También debo decir que tocaron un tema muy delicado como es la violencia que genera el bullying, pero que al final el protagonista supo enfrentar debido a todas las experiencias que sufrió durante el transcurso de su secuestro; ya no sintió miedo y regresó más maduro a sus actividades, ahora bajo otras perspectivas....

Espero que tengan la oportunidad de verla y disfrutarla y que cuando la estén viendo, se acuerden de esta servidora y si es en estos días o cuando lo deseen me comenten que tal les pareció de verdad, se las recomiendo al 100/. Les espero por aquí como siempre, ¡Saludos!
