Right now, I've noticed that several businesses have incorporated coffee shops into their premises; I've seen and visited cafés in opticians, internet cafés, beauty salons, among others, and on this occasion, one of my favorite supermarkets has also incorporated a coffee shop into its premises. They had been undergoing renovations, and this was the best part of them, in my opinion, so guess who, after doing their shopping and without leaving the place, sat down to enjoy a delicious coffee, with a side dish and everything? Me.

I ordered two coffees for my husband and me, along with two attractive servings of ham bread: my delicious coffee with milk and a light brown coffee, as we call this type of coffee here, which is something like a darker coffee with a touch of milk. While we waited, I observed everything around me, as I usually do, watching people coming and going, and those who, like us, were ordering coffee and accompaniments. That routine calms and relaxes me; it's quite soothing for me while I wait for my order.

But one of the things I love most is when they bring me my coffee; I always wait for it anxiously, as it's like a ritual I have. The first thing I notice is the barista's presentation, whether they've made designs or not; that's important, because there have been presentations that have made me not want to touch them because of how beautiful they are. Another thing I look forward to is the taste of the coffee, because if it's just right, they've won a new customer, and while I drink my coffee, if I'm with someone, I usually comment on whether it's good and whether the service is satisfactory, and of course, I take advantage of the opportunity to take my respective photos.

There is something else that I do routinely, and that is not drinking my coffee standing up; I always look for a place where
the seating for visitors is well arranged and where the decor and atmosphere invite me to visit; so I hate eating and drinking something standing up on the street; it has to be something very frugal to do so. Perhaps I am very demanding in this regard, but it helps me to focus my thoughts, organize my ideas, and if I am accompanied, it helps to create a more compatible atmosphere, which I love.

As for the changes I might make on my next visit to a café, perhaps I would try my coffee with a dessert from the place, because I usually drink my coffee black, although there are places where they serve coffee with small cookies. Come to think of it, on this visit I broke this routine by ordering portions of ham bread, which I must say were the perfect complement. So from now on, I will try to order this accompaniment more often, as it undoubtedly adds more flavor to my coffee.
