Lately, I have been getting into streaming services and media players. I have tried Apple TV, Chromecast, and dolamee (a Chinese Android media player).
The reason why Fire is the best so far is (first of all) it's on Android, which is more hackable than Apple TV with waaaay more apps. It also has a great interface out of the box. That is more than I can say for dolamee. You can buy an Amazon Fire stick for like 39 USD.
It also like that it has a voice remote and can be integrated with Alexa. Pretty cool!
I can see it eventually evolving into something really cool.
I have not tried roxio or some of the other streaming media players yet.
