[ENG] For days now, my Garmin has been flashing a Training Readiness score of 1 out of 100, essentially ordering me to lay flat out for at least three full days. Either the tech knows something about my physiology that I don't, or the algorithms just can't wrap their heads around people built like me. Sure, a couple of extra hours of shut-eye wouldn't hurt, but other than that, I feel completely fine and brimming with energy—today's jog being the textbook proof.

[ENG] Heading out for my shift break, I had Garmin's dire warnings in the back of my mind, but figured an easy cruise wouldn't do any harm. I intended to keep things on the slower side compared to recent outings—somewhere around 6:30 min/km—strictly prioritizing an effortless, conversational pace. But once my watch chimed a sub-6:00 split for the opening kilometer, I just let my legs take over. The following two kilometers featured a slight incline, so the pace dipped a touch, but never slipped beyond 6:03 min/km. The subsequent kilometers were even quicker, ultimately pulling the average pace down to 5:55 min/km. Better yet, my average heart rate dropped too: a few days ago after my medical hiatus I was sitting at 160 bpm, whereas today it dialed back to 156 bpm.

Wczesnojesienna aura zdecydowanie bardziej sprzyja bieganiu – nie trzeba już nerwowo szukać skrawka cienia, choć temperatura wciąż pozostaje mało „belgijska”, bo termometry pokazują około 25°C.

[ENG] The early autumn vibe is far more forgiving for running. I no longer have to hunt for shade, even if the thermometer is still defying typical Belgian standards, hovering right around 25°C.
