Exactly 4 years ago in this tread on bitcointalk the term HODL was born.
I remember those dark times, bitcoin was falling down the cliff after MtGox crash. The whole crypto seems just a bad joke after we realized that the pillar of industry, the exchange which ran 98% of trading volume was a piece of shit code. Hell, we even deposited fiat to Karpeles personal bank account.
This guy (probably drunk) gave us hope.
And he was right to HODL!
