I was shopping today at Big R which is sort of a farm and ranch type store in Southern Colorado. I was walking down one of the isles and when I turned the corner I ran into this guy!
He was on a leash but had gotten loose from his owner and was walking around the store by himself. Needless to say it really startled me because I have never seen one of these types of dogs in person in my life. I knew he was nice because he was wagging his tail and licking his slobbering lips when he saw me but the size of this dog takes your breath away when not expecting it. I grabbed his leash and not 2 seconds later his owner was headed down the isle to meet me. I love dogs so it was no problem but, for some people I know this would have really sent them into a panic.
The dogs name was Pluto and his owner says hes only about a year and a half old. Hold crap! How much food could a dog like this eat in one day? He's the size of a miniature pony you see at the carnival but he was such a lover......and a licker....he got lots of slobber all over my arms and hands.
