Hi steemians! It's been so long ever since I last posted an origami tutorial. Now that the 30 day haiku challenge has already ended, I would like to post origami tutorials again. Today, we will be doing one of the most popular origamis, the crane bird! Are you ready? Let's get started!
Cut a paper (6 in x 6 in). You may also use origami paper
Fold it in half. Just like in the illustration, the paper should look like a half diamond.
Fold it again in the direction going from right to left.
Open it. It should look like this
On the left side,open a small part of the paper like this.
You should form a square like the one on the picture.
Press firmly. Do the same on the other side.
Fold the right side in an angle.
So as the right side.
Press firmly.
Also the top portion.
Now open the folded portions slowly and carefully.
Put your fingers in between.
Make sure your work looks like this
Now fold the part which is open. Do it for both sides.
Also fold the back portion.
Now fold it like this.
Also the back.
This is the difficult part. But don't worry, you can do it! Fold the leg like parts upward.
Do both of the sides
Now flip the right side for its head. Fold also the wings
Bravo! Now you're done!
