Origami #2 - RED HEART

It’s been awhile ever since I last posted an origami artwork! So here is my 2nd origami for you steemian friends!

So here are the steps how to make it:

1.) First you must have a construction paper or an origami paper. Cut a rectangular shape, please see the picture below for the length and width.

2.) Now make a triangle shape at one end of the rectangle

and also the other one to make it look like this.

3.) Make a triangle shape like this.

4.) And another triangle shape

and also the other one.

5.) Then get on triangle to form a small square.

6.) Fold the top portion to form a small triangle.

7.) Now open it like this.

8.) Press it to form like this.

9.) Now fold the edge of the square. Do this in all edges of the square.

10.) Open one of the folded edge then do it like this.

11.) Do the same on the other end of the rectangle.

12.) Now fold it.

13.) Make a small triangle like this.

14.) Now flip it.

15.) And flip it again.

16.) As you can see there is a small triangle left.

17.) Now fold it like this.

18.) Then flip it over.

So here is our final origami heart. You can also use this as a bookmark for the bookworms out there!

With a creative mind. i posted the heart on a piece of paper to make it an accessory for a letter. So here's a picture of my girlfriend upon receiving that letter <3
