Offering a Helping Hand | Catching up with my Fellow Steemian

Hi steemians! It’s been days ever since I last posted anything related to promoting steemit. @reewritesthings and I ( @brokemancode) met at a local café to catch up on how was her experience on steemit! For those who didn’t know, @reewritesthings started on steemit last January 2018! Her first #introduceyouself was a blast! (Thanks to those who welcomed her)

WHERE

Our meeting place was at Coffee Factory which is one of our favorites because the place is quiet and the drinks they offer are delightful. For those that didn’t know where the café is, it is located in AS Fortuna Street, Cebu, Philippines. Try their Java Chip Frappe! (It’s amazing)

WHEN

@reewritesthings and I are both busy on weekdays since she is still studying in the University and I work during Monday- Friday so the most convenient day for us to meet is during Saturday (when she does not have plates to pass). We met on Saturday which is 2 days after her 1 month in the plat form.

WHAT

Here are our agendas for the day:

1. Her experience so far.
I am proud to say that @reewritesthings was able to produce her first curie post on her 15th day on steemit and her first OCD resteem on her 7th day. The mentioned are just some of the proofs that she produces nothing but quality content. Thanks to @ybanezkim26 who never fails to promote quality content and also to @thegaillery @wandergirl @legendarryll most especially @themanualbot who are also some of her mentors.

2. Writer’s block
She said that she have struggled producing contents for the past few days. I advised her that it is just normal and she just needs to unwind and rest for a while. We all experience the drain and sometimes we just need to relax and let the inspirations come as they are.

3. Future Plans
We also discussed some future plans about our steemit accounts. A part of this is to produce contents that are interesting not only to us but to our readers as well. I just hope we will both be successful in the future especially now that I just recently launched my PhotoHaiku Series. I suggested that she should also continue posting her poems . IT’S A WRAP

Being in steemit could be kind of difficult if you are alone. It is very important for us, those who started here earlier to support those who are just beginning to establish their blogs. We need to help one another to become better and succeed.

Just like what Charles Dickens said:

No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another.
