Here we go again. I have done over 555 - 4 o’clocky’s *- My signature daily blog !
I know alot of you read it and that gives me the drive to be in your life with My thoughts and ideas every day 😉
About 2 years ago I’ve written about the ‘best’ time to submit a blogpost so you’ll receive worldwide exposure. I came up with the term 4 o'clocky and I thought this might be a great idea to make a blogpost every day at 4 o'clock local time with this title. Every day I’ll submit a blogpost about something that keeps me busy, a challange, a contest or something important enough to share so Lets blog on and See you every day here at 4 !
This is My 4 o’clocky for today...
I recently got this lensball with the world, I call it my #steemitworldmap ball. It was a present from hubby and the smaller one I bought. For those of you that don’t know what it is, this is a solid glass sphere ball that is used to achieve nice photography effects. And I love it. I already had two other balls but the world 🌍 one is favorite now.
Because of the spherical round shape, the ball works as an extra lens. This lens shows an image that has been rotated 180 degrees relative to the topic you want to photograph. And the image through a lensball is therefore upside down. The lensball also works as a wide angle lens, so that you can view a large part of the place where you are.
The lensball is available in all different sizes, a diameter up till 110mm. The lens ball with a diameter of 60 mm is primarily intended for taking photos with a smartphone. The most beautiful lensball photos have a small depth of field, where the ball is sharp and a background is blurred. I did my best with my two balls.
To achieve this, it is necessary to photograph with a large aperture. However, the lens ball must lie completely within the focal plane of the lens: the depth of field must therefore not be too small. But it’s so much fun with phone too.
To keep the photo free from unwanted reflections, it is important to keep the bulb free from (visible) fingerprints. I always carry a little cloth that came with my sunglasses. With my ball you can take great creative photos, the possibilities are virtually endless, whether you take photos in a city or in / with water. There are, however, a number of situations where the effect comes into its own in particular: backgrounds with isolated objects; a square with a church tower, a ship on open water, sunsets on or near water, Geometric shapes and architecture, Long corridors in hotels or barns or your kids ! I have more photos also from the cruise. I brought the small one with me.
I yet have to see if I can predict the future with my ball! Whatever size 🌍😂
