I love the game. I really do but with 24 degrees Celsius it’s a hard game. You run about 17 miles a game ( at least that’s what our captain says ) and with these temperatures that’s a task. We play 4 times 17 minutes and the field ( artificial grass ) is watered twice. The fact the field is warm is what you feel thought the soles of your shoes. But ohhh how I loved the fact I was able to play 9 months after the accident.
It’s great seeing lovely ladies and a opponent that was nice aswell.
I got my mouth piece , big water bottle, my glove , my hockeystick and bag. Ready to win todays match.
The opponents were in the top ranked place but we didn’t care about that at all. Or should I say I didn’t care at all? You want to know what I am talking about? It’s the field hockey game.
I play field hockey. I have been playing since I was a schoolgirl both in school and in a team on the weekend. I had my fair share if injuries but that’s all part of the game.
Anyway it was a great day, I had fun and eventhough we lost the vibe was great. On to next Sunday in the morning before the Grand Prix of Canada. I got bruised but that will be alright hopefully before the Sunday game.
All in all a great field day.
