I was curious when I read a blog by 
@sergiomendes. He is new to a community I have been a part of for a long time but do see him in my feed on the other chain aswell. He wrote:

Well, after being curious, I was now surprised and on board with the idea. But my experience here for the past almost 3 years on two blockchainS is that , good inititives will not be followed by every member. Reading rules in a discord or community is hard, hell I made some mistakes in the early days aswell. But fixed it, but its hard for some to follow rules.
So I am onboard only when its a community rule and when all the members do the same.
