I love photography and want to share my images on Steemit. And already a lot of other photographers are doing the same.
How it started till now
When I was a teenager I started with photography. No digital then, there only was film. And black-and-white film. I had my own small dark room in the attic, developing my own print. A fascinating process: putting special photo paper in trays with chemicals and all magically the image appears. That was very fascinating.
Fast moving forward: photography is now digital and technically completely different from decades ago. Still the same is my fascination with images. Capturing a moment and creating something to be seen and enjoyed; my own view of the world around me.
About me
Photography didn't become my daytime job. I'm working as projectmanager in the IT-department of a Dutch government organization.
I live in the center part of Holland and can commute by bike, which I consider a privilege!
Gear
I'm a Nikon shooter: the full-frame D610 is my current camera. Lenses: 70-200mm/f4, 24-120mm/f4, 16-35/f4. This suits almost all my needs!
My interest and focus What interest me are patterns & structures, order & chaos, architecture & landscape. This is what I try to capture and share.
I intent to publish daily one or more photograph.
