I agree with that guy. So many people spin their wheels in front loaded interest on 30 year notes on properties that they bought at the tops of markets and then they lose a decade of slaving away to pay the interest on a loan that the bank originated out of thin air at this point. Nothing to back it.
It's weird stuff for sure. I think there will be an opportunity to just take over properties via adverse possession once things really unravel but it's hard telling how many years it will really take. I'm assuming huge changes in the next 10 years but there are so many people getting refugee visas and just crossing the Southern border that it is hard to calculate what change that makes. Let's say they go 10 deep in a 4 bedroom house but there are like 50 Million of them....does that perpetuate the economy along for awhile longer?
It's tough to just chill and wait for the collapse because it can take years and years and I expect incentives. Kind of like the first time home buyers tax credit or cash for clunkers type stuff to be rolled out in a couple of years.
