Hopefully things can go into a full blown super cycle and where dust is worth Hella bags. We will see ultimately and personally I think it will come down to if the US can take action on creating a strategic reserve soon.

My sister had a geothermal system for her first house. I never got a breakdown of how exactly the system worked but it circulated water out to the creek that ran by her house. I always interpreted the system to be a closed loop system that would pump hot water through a pipe that was exposed in the bottom of the creek and would be cooled naturally and would complete it's journey around and perhaps air was blown across the cooled water or the cold pipes to create a cooling effect. I'm not sure because it would have been humid in the summer so an evaporative cooling effect wouldn't have worked as well.

I often do think about that creek though because the way it ran and there was a shed out by it and if a small home hydro electric thing could have been setup to run to a battery bank and powered mining equipment I could have seen something like that be a plausible setup.
