Basically the proposal didn't get approved and what I realized is that most people don't know how to actually vote on a proposal so it was going to take a massive education effort and when calculating the amount of people even engaging with the DTube platform currently it wasn't enough to get the required 700,000 DTC vote to get to the next state. Without the support of the DTube account controlled by the original creator it is almost impossible for a proposal to go through. The DAO system on DTube doesn't actually make any sense. It's not decentralized. At this point someone would have to bank on doing all the work with out the support of a proposal system but it becomes an issue trying to work under than branding with no activity from the social media accounts held by DTube and so many of the coins pooled by accounts controlled by one person. The HIVE Engine token was created in a unique way and they basically said I would need the keys to the DTube HIVE account to get that working properly and everything comes through the Binance Smart Chain for that system and we already have DTube on there but if we built another token that was DTC and created bridges to that everyone would be confused for sure if there were two forms of tokenized DTube tokens.
The original creator has sort of disappeared for a couple of months and so much stuff was set up to where he controlled things so we don't delegate out some of the responsibilities.
The HIVE proposal system is working way better even if it is extremely hard to get things approved if you aren't in a core group of developers.
