Bitcoin ETF 50/50 Chance? (F#%K It, Let's Buy Meme Coins)

Gary Gensler is supposed to be giving more updates on the Bitcoin spot ETF applications on the 29th of December. A few days before Christmas he was suddenly saying there are all kinds of issues in the crypto market and it is packed full of fraud. I think that was somewhat of a telling sign eluding to possibly pushing back any sort of ETF approval but a lot of the companies that have applied are acting as if it is a sure thing that it gets approved. Bitwise even came out with that advertisement that has the most interesting man in the world guy from the Dos Equis commercials.
To this point I think we all figure it isn't happening in 2023 since there are only a few days left but knowing whether it is going to happen in 2024 is unlikely as well because they probably won't give a definitive answer one way or another. They will probably just keep stringing it out further and further. At the end of the day we don't really need a Bitcoin ETF to continue to go up but if we do get one I do feel like a lot of the Baby Boomer generation will chase after buying it when they have sat out the last decade plus and having taken a position in Bitcoin.
