The fall and winter are a great time in Southern California for harvesting citrus fruits! There is a long history of citrus trees thriving in my area, and that means a box of my families favorite: tangerines!
We usually get a box or two this time of year and enjoy them often. The kids can peel them themselves as well, which means they can eat whenever they want a snack. They are good for you too, so that is better than many other snack choices.
