Being a home owner comes with a lot of responsibilities and expenses. Aside from regular maintenance, sometimes you just need to pay for repairs that you can't do yourself.
We had to get the kid's bathtub refinished after years of baths and toys chipping away at the glaze finish. Here is the before and the after:
The chipping started recently, but then quickly compounded and looked terrible so it was time. Oh well, spending money on these sorts of projects is par for the course when it comes to owning a house.
Maybe I should make the kids shower off with a hose in back so they don't destroy the bathtub again!
