Gave in

Hi friends,

I finally gave in and let the kids download Minecraft on the iPad:

I have been holding out, but my kids are great kids - well behaved, respectful, and kind - and they have been asking to get it for a while as many of their friends play the game.

My son was leading the charge - normally he would play a hockey or baseball game on the iPad, but Minecraft is right up his alley as he enjoys creating city’s with lego - this is a virtual way to do essentially that and add in some other games.

So I gave in..

Time on the iPad is pretty restricted still, and its good to find a balance in many things, so hopefully they can understand that better when having this but still spending most of their time outside or playing with non-device things.
