Hi Friends,
My wife and I’s wedding anniversary was this last week - 11 years and counting!
Well, things have been a bit busy and our normal Friday night babysitters were unavailable so we decided to do a different type of celebration - one with the kids!
We went to Outback Steakhouse, as we had a gift card from last Christmas we still hadn’t got around to using. The kids enjoyed Mac and Cheese with chicken, my wife had a Cobb salad, and I ate their largest cut of prime rib... check it out:
We do not eat out too often, but my kids are very well behaved (or training I guess you can say) so we had a nice, pleasant meal!
We then decided to stop by a local street fair that happens each Friday night. We walked around and did a little shopping and had dessert. The temperature was perfect and we had a great time. The kids are both normally in bed by 8:00pm, but we stayed out quite a bit later and they went to bed closer to 9:30.
Certainly a different way to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but was a great night!
