Silver Trade Unit

HI friends,

I wanted to share an item from my precious metals stack and let you know why I am a holder. Today’s edition: a one ounce Silver Trade Unit round:

This one is from 1981 and was minted in San Francisco. It reads “from the US strategic stockpile silver” on it, which is pretty cool as well. This was at a good price, which was the main reason for acquiring it.
