I had a good weekend and hope each of you did as well.
It was a long weekend for us, as we had a holiday in the US - Memorial Day Weekend, where we celebrate and remember those who have given their lives in the line of duty.
We celebrated by heading out to Arizona to hang out with family. We spent a lot of time swimming and playing games, as it was pretty hot. I snuck out for some fishing, so I will make a separate post on that.
One highlight was a date night for my wife and I. We drove over to Laughlin, Nevada which is famous for its casinos. While it is nothing compared to Las Vegas, it still offers lots of entertainment options.
I wanted to play some blackjack, but we ended up going bowling in the casino first, then played some ping-pong, and finished with billiards - it was a blast! We never made it to the blackjack tables, but still had a lot of fun enjoying some beverages and playing some competitive games.
Overall, a refreshing weekend!
