As I continue growing with STEEM and Steemit I want to create the ability for me to work with other business owners and entrepreneurs. With my marketing background, this lead me to the idea of becoming one of the first in a new line of industry, dMarketing Consulting. With today's changing technology, businesses and entrepreneurs must adapt to stay ahead of the curve. New opportunities come with the birth of new industries. Decentralized social media platforms will fundamentally transform the way content creators and advertisers engage with their audience, and I'm here to help usher in this new era in online marketing!
My purpose with this post is to lay the foundation of what products and services I can offer small businesses and entrepreneurs. When it comes to online marketing, there are 3 variables that determine the success of a given campaign. They are:
Product is the most important of the 3 factors when it comes to monetizing an audience. If your offer is terrible, then no amount of traffic or advanced conversion techniques will be sufficient to convert customers. The first focus for any business or entrepreneur is to detail out their product plan. This starts with a value ladder.
A value ladder is visual representation of the different products and services you offer, based on an ascending order according to price or value. The lower the price the lower on the value ladder a product or service will go. These low price entry points are used to position yourself in front of a new audience to give you the best chance for conversion. As you customers get more familiar with you, they ascend up your value ladder and purchase your higher ticket products.
When I work with a new client, developing a detailed value ladder becomes my first priority.
Traffic is the lifeblood of any marketing campaign. The quality of your traffic will directly effect the quality of you results. In today's internet marketing business, there are a few options for traffic that are the main choice for any serious advertisers. They are Facebook and Google. These two sources consist of some of the internets highest quality and most targeted traffic.
The problem with these platforms is the cost associated with advertising. You can spend $1000 in a week and feel like you got nowhere. It's easy to blow money advertising on Facebook, mainly because there are many different factors that go into a successful marketing campaign. This is where hosting a blog on a decentralized application such as Steemit can help offset the cost of advertising on platforms like Facebook.
When working with clients, I use a Steemit blog as a foundation to support paid traffic campaigns on Facebook and Google.
Conversion is a simple way to take any website visitor through a sales process one step at a time with very intentional marketing tactics. High conversion rates are facilitated using online sales funnels. Sales funnels are different from traditional websites die to the fact that sales funnels focus on a single call-to-action. There are no distractions on good sales funnels. Visitors won't get pulled in 20 direction when trying to make a decision.
Sales funnels usually only have 3 options:
There isn't about me tabs. There's no other pages to click to for more information. You're not pushing the traffic to social media pages. Websites have all the information about you, where as sales funnels are built to gain the information of your visitors.
Not sure what the price will be just yet.
Any suggestions on the product or pricing. What do you all think about offering marketing consulting services utilizing Steemit as a blogging platform?
Thanks
