My friends and acquaintances are split over this group. They either love or hate it, mainly because of its lead singer, Skin -- a lesbian skinhead (of sorts). I, however, think the group's whole concept is more than "Skin-deep." It's simply brilliant: insightful (if lacerating) lyrics; beautiful, dynamic, and versatile vocals; and driving rock guitars and breath-taking drums and bass.
