The teaching about death in this gospel helps us see it in a very clearer and calmer way. A lot of us grew up thinking death is something dark or some thing that should frighten us, so the preacher explained to us that for those who serve God, death is not evil.
This is a clear reminder that one day we will all stand before God to give account and that He alone controls life and death. Also , the book of Ecclesiastes teaches that we are powerless over our spirit in the day of death, this shows us how fragile and also how we depend on God.
death is not the end, this was proved through The resurrection of Jesus . We should fear God , and not death.
