What's up people, how are you? welcome to a new post, this afternoon I was finishing this fan art, the first one I do of the new version of Sould Bound - Swamp Spitter cards, it reminded me a lot to the ninja turtles a series that I watched a lot when I was a kid, then I decided to make a fan art of this card with a little bit of comic style in it, similar to the art of the ninja turtles or so I tried.

Que pasa gente, como estan? sean bienvenidos a un nuevo post, esta tarde estuve terminando este fan art, el primero que hago de la nueva versión de cartas Sould Bound - Swamp Spitter, me recordó muchísimo a la tortugas ninjas una serie que veia mucho de pequeño, entonces decidí hacer un fan art de esta carta con un poquito de estilo de comic en el, similar al arte de las tortugas ninjas o eso trate.

Well, this time I decided to pose myself to have a reference of how to make the body parts, I'm not going to lie the sketch was complicated, I spent several hours arranging the musculature throughout the body, likewise the first thing I started to paint was the turtle skin, so to speak was something simple at least at the beginning, between details of light shadow and brushes became a heavier work.

Bueno, en esta ocasión decidí posar yo mismo para tener una referencia de como hacer las partes del cuerpo, no voy a mentir el boceto fue complicado, estuve varias horas arreglando las musculatura en todo el cuerpo, así mismo lo primero que comencé a pintar fue la piel de tortuga, por así decirlo fue algo simple al menos al comienzo, entre detalles de luz sombra y pinceles se volvió un trabajo mas pesado.

By far the most complicated was to make the shell by the shape and linear details that have all the stripes and by far was the most tedious task to do in this illustration, after finishing the shell I started working on the bandages of the body, at this point I also began to finish the armor on the arm of Spitter besides adding veins throughout the body to give a more muscular appearance, here the change was relatively strong, I started making the background.

Por lejos lo mas complicado fue hacer el caparazón por la forma y detalles lineales que tienen todas las rayitas y por lejos fue la tarea mas tediosa de hacer en esta ilustración, luego de terminar el caparazón comencé a trabajar en las vendas del cuerpo, en este punto también comencé a terminar la armadura en el brazo de Spitter ademas de ir agregando venas por todo el cuerpo para dar un aspecto mas musculoso, aquí el cambio fue relativamente fuerte, comencé hacer el fondo.

The background as such is not a lake, it is a pool of water in full rain, the first thing I did was to finish the sky, quite simple some night colors with the moon of protagonist in the center and with a fairly strong brightness in the center, it is the first time I add rain in such a detailed way, I decided to do it in the form of straight lines and semi blurred, as well as in the comics, also in the body I added a splash effect by the rain falling on it, likewise I did with the background, more brightness and that texture of splashing.

El fondo como tal no es un lago, es un charco de agua en plena lluvia, lo primero que hice fue terminar el cielo, bastante simple unos colores nocturno con la luna de protagonista en el centro y con un brillo bastante fuerte en el centro, es la primera vez que agrego lluvia de una forma tan detallada, decidí hacerlo en forma de líneas rectas y semi difuminadas, así como en los comics, también en el cuerpo añadí un efecto de salpicadura por la lluvia que cae encima de el, así mismo hice con el fondo, mas brillos y esa textura de salpicadura.

I also loved doing the background, I think it's the best water painting I've ever done so far, I added some mist and more splashes all over the canvas, I think the difference in this illustration and by far was doing the shading work and lighting, I loved it, I learned a lot, I would have liked to perform a more dynamic pose, perhaps in a different perspective.

También me encanto realizar el fondo, creo que hasta el momento es el mejor pintado de agua que he hecho, agregue algo de neblina y mas salpicadura por todo el lienzo, creo que la diferencia en esta ilustración y por mucho fue realizar el trabajo de sombreado e iluminación, me encanto, aprendí bastante, me hubiera gustado realizar una pose mas dinámica, tal vez en una perspectiva diferente.
