Explaining cryptocurrencies to parents can be tough, especially if your parents and family are like mine (older & not very tech savvy). My pops just learned how to use Youtube a couple months ago and my uncle, despite being a sharp business man for his generation, doesn't understand much about tech companies beyond the fact that they keep growing in value.
In this video, I lay out a few different ways you could go about explaining cryptocurrencies to your parents and extended family in simple terms and analogies they understand.
Remember this is an oversimplification of the industry and technology involved. The goal is not to teach the unique differences between digital assets and crypto or the role of P2P vs servers. Just simple language aimed and giving parents a general direction of what this whole "Bitcoin things" is all about.
