Where to even start with this video... I think it's story time and this video needs more context!

OLD SCHOOL NIGHT SHRED

This is the organized chaos being sent through Eaton Centre and their respective carholes in Toronto. As of last year the Toronto Board Meeting was cancelled and highly doubt we will be able to gather again in September. It's an annual event that normally happens every 2nd Saturday in September. This video is from the Friday night before where we do the "Old School Night Shred" that consists of what you see here. Flying down garages with hundreds of us evading the parking police. This normally starts around 9PM and goes until everybody gets tired! The next day is filled with stoke and a HUGE gathering in one of Toronto's open parks, then we ride down Yonge street as a parade. This is also where I even met some of my first pro longboarders. John Barnet, Louis Pilloni, Dexter Manning, Patrick Switzer, Adam Colton, Adam Stokowski, Eric Jensen and the list goes on. We've got the skills without the hills. Everybody in this list who is from Ontario no longer lives in Ontario. Can safely say this gathering of kooks changed my life and the community here is huge!

Here's a shot of me with my lady making our way through the streets. I grabbed her hand and pushed out in front of Yuji and there was a mob behind us. This picture perfectly captured Toronto and we've got it hanging in the living room.

Feel free to ask me any questions about Toronto Board Meeting! This one in 2019 was our 6th or 7th time going, definitely lost track and the crowds have come and gone. I am sure the next one that happens will be the biggest once we can all escape lockdown!! Skate safe and skate everything.
